In a similar incident to the reported attempted abduction on April 21, police have arrested a Newfane man in connection with an alleged abduction attempt on Price Street this morning.

Daniel G. Bowser, 24, 2991 Lockport Road, Newfane, was charged with attempted unlawful imprisonment.

Police haven’t said if the incident this morning is connected to the April 21 situation or even the alleged assault in North Tonawanda.

My wife is a teacher and I can tell you that parents are concerned with the latest reports of abductions and attempted abductions.

When I was a kid my mom always warned me of the creepy guy who might roll up, saying his puppy was missing or he had candy for me. It always seemed crazy and never actually happened, but the latest news stories prove that “stranger danger” does exist.

With guys like this Missing sex offender is reason for parents to be a bit concerned. roaming around, I can see why parents are scared…

  • I think you guys should do a regular “Where’s Lawrence Camman?” feature. You could hide this guy’s picture in different sections of the paper every day and award prizes for finding him.
